Fauztin felt Ty'e'ca nuzzle against him and start drifting off to sleep. He stifled a chuckle in worry of waking her, but smiled to himself. He found her quite adorable at the moment, actually. He reached to the side of the Ikran and pulled a cloak-like piece of cloth from the pack attached to its underside. He let the Ikran steer itself again and he wrapped the cloak around Ty'e'ca, keeping her warm from the gusty winds as the sun set and darkness overtook the skies of Pandora. Fauztin was a bit bigger than Ty'e'ca, and he felt her arms beginning to slip from his waist. He slowed the Ikran and he adjusted himself, lightly picking the girl up and placing her in front of him. She curled up into a ball and nuzzled against him as he held her close to him, making sure she didn't fall. He grabbed the reigns of the creature again and kept her head against him so she was jostled. They soared through the skies and his hair was whipped back from the wind, his braid flying behind him as they crept higher into the sky. They approached the mountains above in the clouds and the jungle below began to shrink as they grew higher and higher. Eventually the jungle was out of sight and clouds surrounded them. Fauztin broke the top of the cloud to the highest rock floating in the sky and landed on the cliff. He grabbed Ty'e'ca in his arms and leapt from the the Ikran, landing on his feet. he walked to the makeshift camp he'd set up, laying her on a soft bed of cloths and blankets, covering her so she wouldn't be cold in the chilly weather. He walked to the center of the camp and lit a fire to keep himself warm as he gave both the blankets to the girl. He stared into the flame and went into a trance, losing track of time. He didn't realize when he finally fell asleep against the Ikran, using its side as a pillow. She didn't move much or even wake when he moved her. She just slowly fell deeper and deeper into sleep. It had been a long day and she really did need sleep. Once placed down on the soft cloth and covered she curled up into herself and under the cloth her head hidden under it. She slept the full night soundly curled up under the blankets. She slowly woke a little but not fully. All she saw was darkness from under her blanket and peeked out a little. She then saw Fauztin sleeping on his Ikran, something she herself had done many times. She stood up and noticed her had given her two blankets and himself non. She gently placed on on him so not to wake him and crawled back under the blanket she had left and fell back asleep not wanting to get up and sleep the day away.

Fauztin's eyes flashed open when he felt the blanket touch his skin. He knew it was Ty'e'ca, but he didn't get up. He heard her walk back to the makeshift bed he'd set up for her and waited a few moments until she went back to sleep. He smiled to himself again and took the blanket from his back, placing it over her exposed legs, which the first blanket didn't quite reach. The blankets had been a gift from one of the scientists in the Hallelujah Mountains that he'd met a month beforehand, so they were sized for humans. Fauztin pushed off from the ground when he crouched to lay it over her and walked over to a bin he had under one of the tents. He opened it up and looked at the food he'd hunted and gathered from the last two nights. He took some fresh meat and brought it to the smoldering fire pit. The flames had gone out, but the ashes still glowed. He started the heat up again and he placed the meat over the fire, cooking it to perfection just as he had been taught to. He went back to the bin and took from it a package that the humans had given him as well. He and some of the scientists were actually friends with each other, but only a few. Sometimes they gave him gifts in return for him allowing them to do research with him and for his own gifts to them, such as teaching them the ways of the Na'vi, or as much as he was permitted to tell them. He was told that the package contained a food called bacon, and that many people loved it. It was mainly a breakfast based food and he opened it and cooked it over the fire on a metal pan given to him as well.
Fauztin made a point of learning more about humans and their culture as a personal hobby more than anything else. he liked to learn and practiced using their tools and customs often. He hadn't used cooking tools very much and decided maybe it was time to try. He recalled the instructions given to him and he cooked the bacon to a slightly crisp form. He inhaled the scent and found it delicious, anxious to try the new food. He looked to Ty'e'ca, still sleeping and he went to the bin again to prepare some fruit in case she wasn't a fan of the meat he'd prepared. He set everything up, placing two bowls at the center of the camp waiting for her to wake up so they could eat.

She slowly woke to the smell off food. At first she thought she was dreaming but she opened her eyes to darkness non the less. She loved the blanket so she could peek out at the fire. Fauztin was well had cooked and sat by two bowled not one. Had he made her food to. She just sat in her 'bed' peeking out at him from the little hole she had made. She was hungry that was for sure and her hunt had gone sour so the food was very welcome. She helt bad to impose on him...

Fauztin caught a bit of movement out of the corner of his eye. He saw Ty'e'ca peek out from between the blankets and watch him as he made breakfast. He smiled at her and stood up. "I made you some food, seeing as how last night's adventures didn't turn out the way you expected. It was partially my fault, so the least I could do is make you something to eat," he said, offering her one of the bowls. He walked over and placed it in front of her with a smile, his eyes happy to see that she had gotten a good night's sleep. "Oh, and I tried something new. I think the human called it bacon. It smells great," he said, shrugging at the end. "Have you tried it before?" he asked.

She reached a hand out of the blanket and took the bowl pulling it in with her. She then sat up and looked down at the food.
Yeah, my mom use to make it when I was younger, it taste good with cooked eggs...
She took a piece and nibbled on it remembering it's taste from long ago. She still had the blanket wrapped around her as she sat there and ate. She looked down at her bowl and spoke two words in Na'vi
Thank you

Fauztin smiled widely, showing some of his teeth. He laughed a little and said, "Sorry, I didn't get any eggs. Just the bacon. But I'm glad you enjoy it." He waited a few moments before speaking again. "Tell me about your family. Before the accident. If that's alright with you, I mean. I'd like to know you better," he said to her. He took a seat, crossing his legs and looked at her with a smile. The Ikran woke up a yowled with a yawn, its eyes half closed still. Fauztin looked up at the beast and tossed a piece of meat at him, which it caught in midair. He turned his attention back to Ty'e'ca and waited for her to speak.

She looked at him for a moment. She didn't know if she wanted to tell him about her family. It was something she wanted to forget now that she couldn't go back. She nibbled more of her food looking at the bowl
My mom raised me and my sister on her own. My dad wasn't a believer of mating for life you could say...
She finished the bacon and started on the meat in her bowl. She nibbled at it enjoying it's taste.
Theres not really much to tell about my family as I didn't get to live with them for long. Coming here and all

Fauztin wore a puzzled look on his face. "Did he pass away? I don't understand. Why wouldn't he mate for life?" he asked, genuinely confused. Fauztin decided to ask another question as well. "How old was your sister when you came?" He waited a moment while she sat in silence. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable... You must miss them," he said, suddenly very sad that he had brought up sore memories. He looked to the Ikran and smiled weakly. "Would you like to fly for a bit? You can ride him, if you'd like. He'll steer, just try to enjoy yourself," he told her.

She shrugged.
He's what humans call a 'player' or 'cheater' He just decided he wanted another mate, then another... then another, not so much telling his other mates this....
She nibbled more meat and looked at him
My sister was six when I cam here, she's about nine now...
She looked at the Ikran and understood why he asked
It's ok I don't mind talking about it, no worries

Fauztin's confused expression deepened. "I... do not understand... That is not right. A male should stay true to his mate, loyal and loving. Once bonded, they should never leave each others' side. Perhaps it is best that I do not understand this part of human culture. It does not seem like something I would enjoy understanding," he said quietly, half upset and half angry.
He looked at Ty'e'ca and stood up, offering her a hand to help her up. "Come on. Let's do some flying," he said to her with a weak smile, trying to make the mood lighter. The Ikran caught the tone of the conversation and understood his words, letting loose a playful shriek, excited at the thought of flying again.

She nodded and agreed with him
It's a part of humans I don't even understand.. Most male humans and the odd female have more then just. You know what I'll spare you the details..
She finished her food and sat the bowl down next to her and looked at him for a moment before taking his hand. She pulled her self up with his help. She gave a quick stretch and couldn't help but laugh
2 agenst one, I see how it is, fine fine we'll go flying

Fauztin's smile widened and he gave her a quick hug. "You can fly on your own, if you'd like. I can tell you're not used to flying as a passenger," he said with a laugh. "If it's alright with him, you may bond with him for the flight, to make it easier. It's not just my choice, though. But he trusts you enough to let you ride on him alone," he said, inclining his head.

She looked at the Ikran for a moment
I wouldn't feel right linking with him.. He's your not mine...
She looked back at him with a small smile
I'm all right with flying with you
With the she walked over and mounted the Ikran

Fauztin nodded, a small smile on his face. "I understand. My Ikran is a bit... unique, however. He feels comfortable with multiple links, though he'll stay loyal to the last breath. As the humans would say about a dog, he's a man's best friend," he said, smiling brightly. He patted the beast's neck and offered Ty'e'ca his hand. He grasped hers and and helped her mount the creature, handing her the reins. "Why don't you take a spin alone first? I'd like to watch for now," he told her, enjoying watching her atop the Ikran.

She nodded and gave a good pat to the Ikrans neck
Make you a deal Ikran... Don't get me kill and I'll make sure my guy doesn't eat you ok? ok..
With that she gave a small laugh and kicked off. She had to get use to a smaller mount then she was use to but it was no different then her mount. She soared threw the air finding it a little hard to fly when not linked. She just didn't feel right linking with the beast. One she got use to it she swooped down to wards Fauztin as if to run into him and threw her arim up in the air as she took off to the skies again laughing
